Sudarshan is a former refugee from Bhutan and the Executive Director of Bhutanese Nepali Community of Columbus (BNCC) where he serves as a community leader and advocate for social justice. He is on the board of Asha Ray of Hope and the founder of the Bhutanese American Students Organization (BASO). He has a Master’s Degree in English Literature, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology. Part of his passion is in applied social science. He is also the co-author of several journal articles. Since his arrival to the United States in 2010, he has been actively working in the community for equality, advocacy, and empowerment of refugees and immigrants.
